Shifu Catalin Tasca starts practicing martial arts at 14. On the course of a year he had practiced karate Shotokan and Qwan ki do and in the rest of the years he practiced Shaolin Kung-fu.
From 1990 he started to promote Chinese traditional martial arts (wing chun, qinna, hung gar, taiji quan), but especially Shaolin kung-fu through organizations (association and sports clubs) and to sustain training camp and demonstrations in Romania.
Shifu Catalin Tasca is also founder and publisher of the Panoramic Kung-fu magazine (first martial arts magazine in Romania, which appeared after 1990).
He published also two Shaolin books for practice ( Initiation in Shaolin Kung-fu and Shaolin Kung-fu - Xiao Hong Quan ).
He is co-author on Shaolin qinna, which is the first book to appear in Romania about this Chinese method.
For instructors, as internal use inside the organization, he is the author of The Trainers Manual that contains principles, theory, training method.
